Located at 621 Alabama Ave SE at Rehoboth Baptist Church, this Cubscout program with alomost 20 years of serving the community has a rich history of reaching out to the youth of the southeastern corridor and facilitating the growth and enhancement of the young men that it services.
Originally initiated by a vision given to the pastor of the Rehoboth, the Reverend R. Vincent Palmer. Many youth have moved through the program and advanced to our sister program Troop 316 and have schieved the prestigous rank of Eagle Scout. In the 100 years of scouting over 2 million boys have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. and out of that special group of individuals 5 have been fostered in Pack/Troop 316 in the less then 20 years that we have existed.
Currently Pack 316 revitlizing the program by using innovative measure inluding the launching and implementation of its own computer lab, the usuage of electronic media and technical resources, and the usage and gravitation to social website such as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter inorder to grasp and capture a new generation of children, parents, and potential leaders.
Currently Pack 316 is under the leadership and direction of Cubmaster Darin Newson ( a product of Pack/Troop 316) and Assistant Cubmaster Catherine Jones.
